Terms of Service

These terms govern use of Search Training and Training Wallet. They are intended to clarify the platform role, user obligations, training provider responsibilities, credential handling boundaries, and core service assumptions.

Last updated: March 16, 2026

Platform overview

Search Training provides marketplace, booking, enrolment, provider-platform, employer, and operational infrastructure services for the vocational training sector. Training Wallet, including the related web and mobile experiences associated with trainingwallet.com.au, is the credential-management layer connected to that ecosystem.

Search Training is a technology platform. It does not replace the responsibility of a training provider for course delivery, assessment, learner support, or the lawful issuance of credentials.

User responsibilities

Users must provide accurate information when searching, booking, enrolling, sharing credentials, or interacting with Search Training or Training Wallet. Users are responsible for ensuring that the information they submit is lawful and, where relevant, current.

If a user chooses to share credentials, enrolment information, or related evidence with an employer or provider workflow, the user is responsible for confirming that they intend to make that release.

Training provider responsibilities

Training providers remain solely responsible for course delivery, assessment decisions, statements of attainment, certifications, student record obligations, regulated reporting, and any legal duties that attach to those services.

Search Training may support booking, enrolment handling, review collection, employer workflows, or credential-related infrastructure, but those services do not transfer the provider's compliance or issuance responsibility to the platform.

Training Wallet and credential handling

Training Wallet is intended to help a learner store, display, share, and manage credential-related records. Unless clearly stated otherwise, credentials in Training Wallet are private by default and should only be released through learner action, consent, or another lawful basis.

Search Training and Training Wallet may support provider-connected issuance flows, credential-release workflows, and enrolment data handoff. Those capabilities do not change the legal responsibility of the issuing provider for the underlying training outcome.

Where AVETMISS-related enrolment data, USI-related workflows, or employer verification flows are used, those activities remain subject to applicable law, provider obligations, and the consent or lawful basis that applies to the relevant data release.

Automated and AI-assisted workflows

Parts of Search Training and Training Wallet use AI-assisted tools to support functions such as credential matching, eligibility guidance, content recommendations, and administrative workflows. Where personal information is involved in these processes, we apply role-based access controls, encryption, audit logging, retention controls, and human oversight as appropriate.

AI-assisted workflows are designed to minimise use of personal information. Where possible, de-identified, tokenised, or otherwise minimal data is used. We do not use your personal information to train third-party AI models. The outputs of AI-assisted features are informational only and do not constitute regulated advice. Where a decision matters, a human member of our team is responsible.

Service availability and limits

Search Training and Training Wallet are provided on an ongoing-service basis, but the platform does not promise uninterrupted availability. We may suspend, limit, or modify the service for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons.

Some features, including provider integrations, credential-verification workflows, or regulated data-handling flows, may depend on connected systems, configuration, or provider participation and may not be available in every environment.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, unless another mandatory law applies to a specific consumer or regulated context that cannot lawfully be excluded.
